In August 2025, Vestas announced a separate order from an undisclosed customer for turbines to support a 128 MW wind project in Chile.

The recent contracts in Germany and Poland demonstrate the growing role of wind energy in national and regional energy mixes, particularly through both new installations and repowering initiatives that upgrade older sites with more efficient technology. Long-term service agreements included in these deals help ensure reliable operation and predictable maintenance costs for project owners.

Vestas continues to support the expansion of renewable generation by delivering solutions tailored to diverse site conditions and grid requirements across Europe.
