Kabul Launches Bridge Project to Improve Urban Traffic

Wedoany.com Report-Dec.30, On Tuesday, a significant bridge project, an elevated road, officially commenced construction in the center of Kabul, Afghanistan.As the core component of this bridge project, the newly started elevated road will extend from Sedarat Square to Joy Shir Road, with a total length of 283 meters and a width of 18 meters. The project is estimated to cost 462 million Afghanis, approximately 7 million US dollars. Meanwhile, the elevated road under construction at Balaki Square is 470 meters long and 20 meters wide, with about 45% of the work completed so far. It is expected to cost 580 million Afghanis, roughly 8.8 million US dollars. Another elevated road planned for construction later in the same area is estimated to cost 762 million Afghanis, about 11.5 million US dollars.
