Wedoany.com Report-Dec.30, On December 30, the 10 millionth container was successfully hoisted onto the ship "Xin Fangcheng", officially marking that the container throughput of Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi, China has surpassed the "10 million TEU" milestone.

At the same time, the port's 100th container shipping route—the Kampot, Cambodia route—sounded its whistle for its maiden voyage, heading towards the deep blue, while the 10,218th sea-rail intermodal train departed with a long blast of its horn.

This signifies a major advancement in the construction of the Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port and International Hub Seaport. The New Western Land-Sea Corridor, which includes Beibu Gulf Port, will continue to facilitate the export of goods from central and western China, enhance container throughput through multi-dimensional efforts, and contribute new strength to promoting high-quality economic development in the western region.
