Wedoany.com Report on Feb 2nd, Russia's Norilsk Nickel has released its 2025 production results and 2026 plans. As a globally significant producer of precious and non-ferrous metals, the company's Vice President of Production Activities and Chief Executive Officer stated: "In 2025, all production facilities operated according to plan, and extraction volumes met the set targets."

The company achieved an increase in ore extraction through the commissioning of new capacities in its operational areas within Russia and abroad. The report indicates that production indicators for platinum group metals, palladium group metals, and other precious metals met annual plan requirements across all business segments.

While completing its main metal production plans, Norilsk Nickel continues to advance its infrastructure construction projects. Upgrades to transportation infrastructure have secured increased transport capacity for operations in Russia and overseas regions, laying the groundwork for subsequent capacity expansion. These projects are expected to be completed between 2027 and early 2028.

Specific data shows that production for the NORNICKEL PLATING GRADE metal group increased by 30% year-on-year in 2025. The company plans to maintain this growth momentum in 2026 and continue advancing infrastructure optimization efforts.

Norilsk Nickel is a vertically integrated mining and metallurgical company with a significant position in the production of metals such as nickel, palladium, platinum, copper, and cobalt. Its production network covers Russia and over 20 countries abroad, and it also produces rare metals including gold, silver, and iridium.
