Wedoany.com Report on Feb 6th, Recently, Apple introduced the iPhone 17 series, marking the first major design overhaul for Pro models since the iPhone 12 Pro. The new phones feature rear cameras placed on a wider base, a two-tone finish on the back, and new color options. Although this design update has received mixed reactions, Apple is reportedly planning to carry over a similar look to the iPhone 18 Pro models.

According to MacRumors citing information from Weibo user Fixed Focus Digital, the leaker states that due to the strong market performance of the current series, Apple will not make significant changes to the external design of the iPhone 18 Pro. The company's financial report released last week showed positive momentum, with CEO Tim Cook noting, "Driven by strong demand, we had our best quarter ever, setting records in every geographic segment."
Therefore, the report adds, Apple plans to enhance the performance of the iPhone 18 Pro through the A20 and A20 Pro chips, rather than focusing on cosmetic innovations. These chips are expected to be Apple's first silicon using a 2-nanometer process, replacing the A19 Pro processors found in current phones.
However, the leaker reveals that the front of the iPhone 18 Pro might see more significant changes. According to YouTuber Jon Prosser, Apple will adopt a punch-hole front camera and move its position from the center of the screen to the top-left corner. Furthermore, Apple is said to be implementing under-display Face ID technology for the first time, aiming to reduce the size of the front camera cutout and the Dynamic Island.
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to debut at Apple's fall event later this year, potentially alongside the first foldable iPhone. More imminently, Apple's upcoming releases may include the M5 Pro and M5 Max versions of the MacBook Pro.
