Airties Appoints Nokia Veteran Deepak Harie as Chief Revenue Officer to Strengthen Wi-Fi Software Business

This personnel change aims to drive the global expansion of its Wi-Fi software business.

During his career at Nokia, Deepak Harie held multiple leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Technical Support and Deployment Services. He joined Nokia Siemens Networks, a joint venture between Nokia and Siemens, in 2003. The company was renamed Nokia Networks after being fully acquired by Nokia in 2013.

In his new role at Airties, Harie will be responsible for leading global sales and business development, reporting directly to the company's CEO and founder, Metin Taskin. Taskin stated, "Harie is widely recognized in the industry for his outstanding track record, deep technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and customer-centric philosophy. Our goal is to help broadband service providers achieve seamless, intelligent, and secure connectivity, and we believe Deepak will help us accomplish this mission."

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Paris, France, Airties focuses on providing software solutions that enhance connectivity for Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Its product line includes the Home, Pro, and Multi series, which intelligently guide user devices to the optimal access points and frequency bands, thereby helping ISPs manage customer networks more effectively.

Currently, Airties' customers include well-known companies such as AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, and T-Mobile US. Upon assuming his role, Harie noted, "Internet Service Providers rely on Airties' AI-driven software to continuously optimize customers' broadband experience, improving performance, reducing churn, controlling costs, and enabling effective marketing.
