Ingeteam recently completed an upgrade for a solar power plant in California, USA, supplying over 250 photovoltaic inverters. Over the past year, the company manufactured and commissioned more than 250 INGECON SUN 935TL U B360 1500 V inverters to modernize an existing site that has been operational for over a decade. This upgrade is expected to enhance the plant's output and improve its efficiency.

Nohra Nasr, Vice President and General Manager of Photovoltaics and Battery Energy Storage Systems at Ingeteam Inc., stated: "The INGECON SUN B Series inverters have been deployed in the U.S. and globally for nearly a decade. This project demonstrates Ingeteam's long-term commitment to asset owners by maintaining and supporting our previous-generation products throughout the project lifecycle, while also upgrading sites that originally used inverters from other brands." To date, Ingeteam Inc. has supplied over 6 gigawatts of its inverter series to photovoltaic and battery energy storage system projects in the United States, while Ingeteam globally has installed more than 36 gigawatts of inverters.

In the United States, all spare parts, after-sales service, and testing needs are supported by Ingeteam's facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This upgrade helps optimize the power plant's performance and extend its operational life.
