The GW7F series three-column horizontal flip-type disconnect switch is used for outdoor three-phase AC high-voltage electrical switchgear, featuring a three-column double-break structure. It is primarily used in power supply systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz for switching high-voltage lines under no-load conditions and for electrically isolating high-voltage electrical equipment, such as high-voltage busbars and circuit breakers under maintenance, from live high-voltage lines.
The GW7F series consists of three single poles, each with a three-column structure, mainly composed of a base, post insulators, main blade, and main blade static contacts. The three post insulators are arranged side by side on the base, with the main blade installed at the top of the middle post insulator and the two main blade static contacts positioned at the tops of the insulators on either side. Grounding switches can be installed on one or both sides of the static contacts based on site requirements. Both the main and grounding blades can be operated in three-phase linkage or single-phase operation using either an electric or manual mechanism.
During operation, the main blade at the top of the middle post insulator first rotates horizontally by 70°, allowing the moving contact to enter the static contact. It then flips 45° to enable the static contact's fingers to clamp the moving contact, completing the closing action. The opening action is the reverse of this process.
