The 2MW/0.033MWh supercapacitor energy storage system is manufactured by Zhongtian Supercapacitor Technology Co., Ltd.
This energy storage system consists of 2 supercapacitor cabins and 1 integrated boost cabin. Each supercapacitor cabin is equipped with 2 supercapacitor stacks, with each stack comprising 4 supercapacitor clusters electrically connected in parallel; each supercapacitor cluster consists of 20 supercapacitor modules (hereinafter referred to as modules) electrically connected in 1 parallel and 20 series; each module is composed of 48 units of 3.0V 3400F supercapacitors electrically connected in 3 parallel and 16 series. Each supercapacitor cluster has a rated voltage of 960V and a capacity of 31.85F, equipped with one high-voltage control box. The high-voltage control boxes from the 4 supercapacitor clusters are connected via one control bus cabinet and then linked to the DC side of a 500kW energy storage inverter (PCS). The integrated boost cabin primarily includes 4 units of 500kW energy storage inverters (PCS) and 1 unit of 2500KVA/35kV 10.33kV step-up transformer.
