The SDZ Series Intelligent Molded Case Circuit Breaker is suitable for low-voltage power networks with AC 50Hz, rated insulation voltage 690V, rated operating voltage up to 690V, and rated current 32A to 800A. It is generally used for distribution protection. The distribution-protection type circuit breaker distributes electrical energy in power distribution networks and provides overload and short-circuit protection for lines and power equipment. The motor-protection type circuit breaker is used in 400V power distribution networks for starting, stopping during operation, and providing overload and short-circuit protection for squirrel-cage induction motors.

The circuit breaker is equipped with an intelligent controller that expands the adjustable current setting range and provides three-segment protection characteristics: overload long-time delay, short-circuit short-time delay, and short-circuit instantaneous action, allowing it to be used as a main protection breaker. All three segments are field-adjustable, and it also includes electromagnetic backup short-circuit (instantaneous) protection.
