The DSP series is a new generation of low-voltage pole-mounted circuit breakers launched by Farady Electric, specifically designed for low-voltage side protection of outdoor distribution transformers. This product uses air as the insulating medium, adopts a grid-type arc-extinguishing structure, and integrates a digital trip unit with a mechanical load indicator, enabling cumulative overload tripping and real-time load status monitoring, fully compliant with the HN63-S11 standard. It is a compact, rapidly deployable protection solution for low-voltage overhead distribution networks.
The trip unit supports three configurable capacity ratings (50kVA, 100kVA, 160kVA) to suit different transformer specifications; its cumulative overload trip threshold can be continuously and finely adjusted via the external pointer of the load indicator. Its terminal-block-free cable clamp eliminates the need for on-site cable lug crimping, thereby simplifying installation work. Equipped with a ground-level operating handle with padlock capability, it allows safe operation without climbing and prevents unauthorized operation of the device. The unit also provides two outgoing circuits for branch load supply, and its trip characteristics are calibrated to maintain selective coordination with TPC fuses.
