The DSP series is a new generation of low-voltage pole-mounted circuit breakers launched by Faraday Electric Company, specially designed for the protection of the low-voltage side of outdoor distribution transformers. This product uses air as the insulating medium, adopts a grid-type arc extinguishing structure, integrates a digital trip unit and a mechanical load indicator, and can realize cumulative overload tripping and real-time load status monitoring, fully complying with the HN63-S11 standard. It is a compact and quickly deployable low-voltage overhead distribution network protection solution.
The trip unit supports three configurable capacity levels (50kVA, 100kVA, 160kVA) to adapt to transformers of different specifications; its cumulative overload trip threshold can be continuously and finely adjusted through the external pointer of the load indicator. Its terminal-free wiring clamp eliminates the need for on-site cable lug crimping, thereby simplifying installation work. Equipped with a ground operating handle with padlock function, it can be safely operated without climbing and can prevent unauthorized operation of the equipment. The unit also provides two outgoing circuits for branch load power supply, and its trip characteristics are calibrated to maintain selective coordination with TPC fuses.
