13.8 kV Single-Phase AC Automatic Line Voltage Regulator
Technical Specifications
The VR-8 single-phase tap-changing voltage regulator is an on-load tap-changing autotransformer that can automatically regulate the distribution network line voltage within ±10% in 32 steps (approximately 5/8% per step).
Its rated parameters are as follows:
1. Voltage: 2500V (60kV Basic Insulation Level, BIL) to 33000V (200kV BIL);
2. Current: 50A to 1665A;
3. Capacity: 33kVA to 1000kVA;
4. Frequency: 50Hz or 60Hz.
All specifications are equipped with internal potential winding taps and/or external ratio correction transformers, so that each voltage regulator can be applicable to a certain range of system voltages.
The digital control system can automatically operate the tap changer mechanism to maintain the system voltage within the set range. This control system supports external programming for precise setting of control limits and has advanced functions to meet special control needs, communication and data recording requirements.
The overhead voltage regulator is equipped with a support bracket for pole mounting and has bolt fixing devices suitable for platform mounting. The substation-type voltage regulator is equipped with a rectangular substation base. A lifting platform can be provided as an optional item.
