To address the issues of low intelligence and high labor intensity in tunnel waterproofing and steel reinforcement operations, Luoyang China Railway Zhongqiang Machinery Co., Ltd. has independently developed a new intelligent integrated machine for waterproofing and steel reinforcement operations.
This trolley is mainly composed of a gantry frame, curved rails, a laying trolley, a traveling system, a hydraulic system, and an intelligent control system.
The waterproofing and steel reinforcement integrated machine produced by China Railway Zhongqiang Company adopts a gantry-type frame structure, ensuring clearance for vehicle passage and reserving space for ventilation ducts, eliminating the interference issues found in similar products during construction. The curved rails adopt an integral welded design, providing stable structure and strong load-bearing capacity. The laying trolley is equipped with a spring-rod smoothing device that presses the waterproof board tightly against the excavation surface, fully replacing manual labor, reducing worker fatigue, and improving laying quality and efficiency. The trolley features rubber-tire electric traveling, eliminating the need for manual track laying and allowing flexible site transfer. Both ends of the gantry frame are equipped with translation mechanisms, enabling in-tunnel turning and effectively preventing deviation issues during laying operations. The design incorporates a top staircase plus a double-layer side platform, with a maximum sliding platform extension of 1 meter, completely eliminating construction blind spots and meeting the requirements of various cross-section constructions.

1. Integrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic design. Adopting intelligent control technology, all operations can be performed via wireless remote control, making operation simpler for workers.
2. Stable operation, safe and reliable. The curved rails adopt an integral welded design, and the laying trolley is driven by a chain drive. Compared with the wire rope drive commonly found on the market, waterproofing operations are more stable and efficient, with higher safety, durability, and easier maintenance.
3. Multi-functional machine meeting customized requirements. In addition to laying geotextiles and waterproof boards, it can be equipped with auxiliary clamps to achieve automatic circumferential dragging of steel reinforcement, saving 2-3 operators. Both sides of the gantry frame are equipped with lifting systems for hoisting waterproof boards and steel reinforcement, and the top is fitted with auxiliary brackets for over/under-excavation detection. For open-cut tunnels, an integrated fabric hanging and curing machine has also been developed to meet customized customer requirements.
