Product Overview
This instrument uses an acidic oxidant under high temperature and high pressure to convert lead-containing substances into lead ions. Under alkaline conditions, a porphyrin-based chromogenic reagent reacts with lead ions to form an orange-yellow complex with characteristic absorption at 480 nm. The concentration of this complex is positively correlated with the total lead concentration in the water sample. A precision spectrometer then performs multi-band colorimetric measurement of the characteristic complex to accurately determine the total lead concentration in water.
