The 12 tool carriers can be equipped with two tools each. Independent of the position, any one of these tool carriers can be equipped with I.D. or O.D. tools. Contrary to conventionally designed machines, which consist of 6 cross slides and 6 end working tools, the tools can always be chosen optimally based on the need of the particular job. View into the work area1 / 3 Front open work area of the MS52C The exceptionally spacious work area without end slide blocks is freely accessible due to the front open design. This results in a measurable reduction of setup time and cost. The MS52C is especially suited for automatic machining of chuck parts. The parts are loaded and unloaded automatically by a robot mounted in the work area.
