In oil wells with sand production, the plunger and pump cylinder often experience wear from gravel, leading to increased clearance, reduced pump efficiency, and, in severe cases, the pump may even get stuck. Additionally, for intermittently sand-bearing wells, traditional oil pumps face significant issues with submergence. To address these challenges, our company has designed and developed the Long Plunger Sand Settling Oil Pump, suitable for high-sand and intermittently sand-bearing wells with sand content below 3%.
Features:
- High Efficiency: The pump’s upstream moving valve cover is always exposed outside the pump cylinder, resulting in low oil discharge resistance and reduced downward resistance on the plunger, making it suitable for viscous oil extraction.
- Short Pump Cylinder and Long Plunger Structure:The plunger maintains constant contact with the pump cylinder, preventing gravel from easily entering the gap between the pump cylinder and the plunger.
- Lateral Inlet with Sand Settling Tail Pipe Structure.
- The pump is equipped with a sand settling tail pipe, ranging from 100 to 200 meters in length, with a sealed threaded plug at the bottom.
- Not Suitable for High Oil-Gas Ratio Wells.
The pump can utilize standard materials and a variety of heat treatment and surface treatment processes to meet the requirements for product strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance based on well conditions.
