On February 28th, the Polypropylene 34 line of the Polyolefins Department I in the new refining and chemical area at the headquarters of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company completed the loading and shipping of S1003 powder material. This batch of supplies will be dispatched to the site of the Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project located in the Shangku Industrial Park in Korla, providing support for the subsequent trial operation of the plant.

Currently, the construction of the Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project has entered a critical stage, with 11 public utility and auxiliary main items successfully achieving intermediate handover. On-site construction is now focused on process pipeline pressure testing, equipment commissioning, finalizing electrical and instrumentation installation, as well as single-unit trial operation and integrated trial runs.

To align with the project's trial operation schedule, relevant departments of Dushanzi Petrochemical have formulated detailed work plans. The Polyolefins Department I mobilized its core personnel and successfully completed the continuous product switchover task from K9928H to S1003 on the Polypropylene 34 line on February 28th, ensuring the supply of materials.

The Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project has a total investment of 21.88 billion yuan, with an annual processing capacity of 2.755 million tons of feedstock. It is expected to produce over 2 million tons of high-end polyolefins and high-performance rubber materials annually. The project aims to enhance the localization level of the domestic petrochemical product industry chain and is scheduled to be fully completed and operational by 2026.
