Velesto Energy Brings Forward Rig Survey Following Contract Suspension

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 02,   Carigali Hess Operating Company has suspended the contract for the Velesto Energy jackup NAGA 8, due to early completion of the drilling program.

Velesto now plans to bring forward the rig’s Special Periodic Survey for NAGA 8 to position it for future work offshore Malaysia or elsewhere.

Other jackups in the company’s fleet, NAGA 2, NAGA 4, and NAGA 6, are contracted through Q1, 2026.
