Wedoany.com Report, On March 9, 2026, Airhub Aviation signed a strategic maintenance agreement with aircraft lessor AerCap to provide base maintenance and aircraft redelivery services at its Šiauliai International Airport (SQQ) facility in Lithuania. This agreement makes Airhub Aviation a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) partner for AerCap, supporting narrow-body aircraft transitions and deliveries in Europe and the Middle East.

"This partnership solidifies our position in the aircraft transition and maintenance sector," said Oleg Novak, General Manager of Airhub Aviation. "Our Šiauliai facility is purpose-built for quick-turn base maintenance, aircraft modifications, engine changes, and long-term storage – all key services needed by lessors managing fleet transitions. We look forward to further strengthening our cooperation with AerCap in the MRO field."

Under the agreement, Airhub Aviation will provide base maintenance and implementation of European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) modifications, including avionics upgrades, cabin reconfigurations, engine and landing gear changes. A dedicated temporary hangar will facilitate the rapid induction of aircraft, ensuring minimal downtime.

Airhub Aviation will also leverage its expertise in component management, supply chain solutions, and long-term storage. The company's Asset Management division provides mid-life aircraft support, including parts harvesting, repair management, and optimized inventory solutions.

The Šiauliai facility can accommodate up to 25 narrow-body aircraft simultaneously, making it one of the region's largest capacities. The location offers cost-effective storage and transition solutions, benefiting from its proximity to key European markets. As a NATO base airport, SQQ also provides high-security infrastructure and flexible all-weather operations.
