Wedoany.com Report, On March 17, 2026, DDN, headquartered in San Jose, California, USA, announced a significant update to its AI Data Platform. As artificial intelligence technology transitions from experimental phases to real-world production applications, data infrastructure has become a critical factor influencing operational revenue and efficiency. DDN's new version aims to reduce the cost per token through inference acceleration and provides multi-tenant storage operations to support the demands of production AI factories. These features run directly on NVIDIA BlueField-4 hardware to optimize data processing efficiency.

Sven Oehme, Chief Technology Officer at DDN, stated: "AI infrastructure is now viewed as a revenue system—every token generated represents a return on invested capital. DDN is committed to ensuring this return is not diminished by data bottlenecks." DDN Infinia accelerates inference performance and improves the economics of AI factories by eliminating data bottlenecks at scale. DDN EXAScaler transforms shared GPU infrastructure into a secure, API-driven, and revenue-generating AI factory platform.
DDN's software-defined AI data services are now aligned with the NVIDIA STX reference architecture and run directly on NVIDIA BlueField-4 Data Processing Units. By offloading storage processing and data movement tasks from CPUs and GPUs, DDN provides a direct GPU-to-data path. This helps reduce latency, lower power consumption, and increase effective GPU utilization in training and inference workloads, thereby making more complete use of data center resources.
All three solutions are expected to be generally available in the summer. Full platform details and a technical brief can be obtained at the NVIDIA GTC 2026 event. For more information, private demonstrations can be scheduled, meetings can be booked, or the DDN booth at #1621 can be visited. DDN is a company focused on AI and data intelligence, supporting AI workloads for organizations worldwide and helping customers realize returns on their AI investments.
