UK's United Infrastructure Secures £364 Million Housing Refurbishment Contract

Wedoany.com Report on Mar 19th, United Infrastructure UK recently announced that its subsidiary, Social Infrastructure, has been appointed to deliver planned maintenance and investment works on behalf of Guinness Partnership in the North West of England and Greater Manchester. The contract is valued at approximately £364 million over a 15-year partnership, with an expected annual delivery value of around £24 million. This housing refurbishment project will commence in November 2025 and run until March 2041.

The Guinness Partnership is one of England's larger providers of affordable housing, managing over 70,000 homes and housing more than 160,000 residents. This refurbishment project will cover over 20,000 homes in the region, with the scope of works including internal upgrades, external repairs, and mechanical and electrical works. Specific tasks will encompass kitchen and bathroom renewals, roof and window replacements, heating system upgrades, as well as fire safety improvements and energy efficiency retrofits.
