en.Wedoany.com Report, On March 20, 2026, the launch ceremony for the China Computing Power Platform (Qinghai) Computing Power Situational Awareness and Monitoring System was held in Xining, Qinghai. Li Yi, Director of the Qinghai Provincial Communications Administration, Shi Youkang, Chief Expert of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and Chen Weijun, Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Data Bureau, jointly activated the system.
Computing power, as the core productive force of the digital economy, is an important component of national strategic infrastructure. Currently, China is systematically advancing the construction of a national integrated computing power network with "points, chains, networks, and surfaces" as its main axis. Automated monitoring of computing power situational awareness is a key link in achieving a "global overview and domain-specific collaboration" of computing power resources. The launch of the China Computing Power Platform (Qinghai) Computing Power Situational Awareness and Monitoring System is a key initiative by Qinghai Province to implement the national integrated computing power network construction deployment, and an important achievement in China's automated monitoring of computing power situational awareness. It provides strong support for solidifying the foundation of digital economic development and empowering the upgrading of the western digital industry.
At the event site, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology detailed the core functions of the system. Relying on the technical system of the China Computing Power Platform, the system realizes the full-process management of automated collection, recording, and reporting of computing power data, constructing a comprehensive "single ledger" of computing power resources for the entire Qinghai Province, and building the capability for visual display of computing power data. Through this platform, relevant departments can accurately grasp the development trends and layout patterns of local computing power infrastructure, providing data support for the coordinated scheduling and scientific decision-making of computing power resources.
In the future, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology will continue to uphold the principle of "adapting measures to local conditions and implementing policies by category," fully supporting various regions in implementing the deployment of automated monitoring work for computing power situational awareness. The platform will play the role of an "ecosystem aggregation" hub, gathering forces from industry, academia, research, and application to create a win-win model of "national platform + local characteristics + industrial empowerment," promoting the high-quality development of the national computing power infrastructure. By continuously improving the computing power monitoring and scheduling system, computing power resources will better empower the real economy and serve national strategies, injecting a continuous stream of core momentum into accelerating the construction of a cyber power and a digital China, and solidifying the foundation for digital economic development.
