en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 21st, data from Kazakhstan's railway company shows that from September 2025 to March 2026, Kazakhstan's total exports of grain and flour (calculated in grain equivalent) reached 8.9 million tons. This represents an increase of approximately 1 million tons compared to the 7.9 million tons exported during the same period last year. Looking at the main export directions, all markets showed growth trends.
Specifically, exports to Uzbekistan increased by 14%, rising from 6.6 million tons to 7.5 million tons; exports to Kyrgyzstan grew 1.8 times, from 194,000 tons to 354,000 tons; exports to Afghanistan increased by 24%, from 1.1 million tons to 1.3 million tons; and exports to Turkmenistan grew 1.5 times, from 94,000 tons to 145,000 tons.
Analysis points out that the continuous expansion of the export scale reflects stable international market demand for Kazakhstan's grain products. It also indicates that the measures taken to improve the export logistics system have achieved positive results.
Currently, relevant departments are continuing to advance efforts to enhance the export capacity of the agricultural industrial complex.
