en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 24th, Gamma Communications recently launched its Global Communications Enablement portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region, covering four markets: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines. This expansion addresses the needs of cloud communications providers by offering voice, messaging, and number services, aiming to support the growth of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) markets. Tristan Plummer, Head of Solutions Architecture for Service Providers at Gamma Communications, stated: "First and foremost, this is all driven by customer demand. One of the biggest contributing factors is the BPO market. Approximately 50% of global BPO seats originate from this region. We see significant demand in the BPO market. In terms of growth rather than market size, eight of the ten fastest-growing UCaaS and CCaaS markets are in the Asia-Pacific region."

Gamma has deployed the same platforms, systems, and operational models in the Asia-Pacific region as in Europe. The infrastructure runs on public cloud nodes in Sydney and Singapore, both of which are already live. Customers can access services via public internet connections, encrypted SIP trunking, or private peering connections (e.g., through Megaport or Equinix exchanges). Regulatory compliance is central to this launch. Gamma offers fully compliant PSTN replacement services in all four markets to meet the needs of large, regulated customers. Mike Mills, Managing Director for Service Providers at Gamma Communications, emphasized: "Compliance underpins everything we do in our Global Communications Enablement portfolio. As a primary carrier, telecommunications compliance and regulatory compliance are critical. We must be able to achieve the highest level of compliance to connect large financial institutions or major enterprises to this network."

This launch establishes an operational presence for Gamma in Sydney and Singapore, providing regional customers with local points of interconnection as the company expands from its European base. Plummer added: "We have taken the platforms, systems, and operational models that have been successful in Europe and deployed them in the Asia-Pacific region." Mills described Asia-Pacific as a key market, expecting strong growth in the region. Gamma focuses on providing local compliance, local numbers, and regional interconnection options to help cloud communications companies overcome the barriers of operating across jurisdictions. Plummer concluded: "Today, we are live in four markets—Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines—and we offer fully compliant PSTN replacement services in all these regions." This initiative is part of Gamma's broader push to follow its customers into faster-growing communications markets.
