en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 24th, Sealed Air has recently launched the I-Pack Dual automated void reduction system, which can handle two corrugated carton specifications on a single machine, aiming to achieve precise size matching and reduce packaging waste. This innovative system is compatible with carton sizes ranging from 180×140×50mm to 630×450×400mm, with processing speeds reaching 10-12 cartons per minute depending on the size.

The I-Pack Dual system's measurement and scoring modules automatically detect product dimensions, folding the carton to an ideal height to reduce void fill, thereby helping to lower volumetric weight charges. The automatic glue-sealed lid closure function ensures secure packaging while reducing manual handling steps.
Designed for seamless integration into high-volume fulfillment environments, the system offers efficiency and flexibility. It is fully compatible with Sealed Air's AutoPrint late-stage CMYK printing system, which can apply full-color graphics, text, and barcodes directly onto packaged cartons.
By combining these two systems, customers can enhance efficiency, reduce overpackaging, and achieve personalized printing. Byron Racki, Global President of Protective at Sealed Air, stated: "The new I-Pack Dual demonstrates Sealed Air's ongoing innovation in automated precision size matching. The system's ability to manage two carton specifications on a single platform provides exceptional flexibility and productivity, while reducing packaging complexity and saving warehouse space."
In other developments within the packaging industry, PAPACKS, ICE Industrial Services, and Inmaco Solutions recently introduced a patented production system for manufacturing fiber-based bottles, containers, and tubes, with an initial capacity of 10 million units, suitable for high industrial volumes. Meanwhile, Ranpak's FillPak Mini compact automated void filler is designed for production environments with limited space, offering multiple operating modes.
