First Underground Garage Raft Slab Successfully Poured at CEEC Construction Group's Sungrow Hangzhou R&D Center Project

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 22, the first underground garage raft slab at CEEC Construction Group's Sungrow Hangzhou R&D Center Project was successfully poured. The raft slab, located in Zone D1 of the project's northern underground garage, covers an area of approximately 900 square meters with a total pouring volume of 500 cubic meters. The site deployed one 56-meter boom pump and 40 concrete mixer trucks, completing the pouring task through 10 hours of continuous operation.

As the first critical milestone in the project's transition to the main structure construction phase, this raft slab pouring was given high priority by the project team. Prior to the pouring, the project team organized a technical briefing session, providing detailed arrangements covering raft slab dimensions, thickness zoning, vibration key points, and protection of column reinforcement, ensuring that all construction personnel fully grasped the technical specifications.

In response to the multiple special sections involved in this pouring, the project team developed dedicated construction plans. For the sump pit deep excavation sections, a layered feeding and layered vibration process was adopted, strictly prohibiting one-time full filling, while the bottom was thoroughly vibrated to prevent honeycombing, water accumulation, and slag inclusion. Exhaust channels were reserved on the formwork sides for real-time observation of bubble discharge, and the reinforcement system was inspected in advance to prevent formwork floating. For the side wall hanging formwork pouring, concrete was fed evenly from both sides of the hanging formwork to avoid displacement or floating caused by one-sided heavy impact, with enhanced vibration beneath the hanging formwork to eliminate voids and honeycombing, and concentrated stockpiling around it was strictly prohibited to prevent formwork deformation. To prevent displacement of frame column reinforcement, positioning stirrups and external steel pipe diagonal supports were installed before pouring, with inserted bars spot-welded to the base slab reinforcement for positioning. Concrete was not discharged directly toward column reinforcement, and vibrators were kept away from column bars to avoid collision. Dedicated personnel were assigned for full-time monitoring throughout the pouring process, and the position and verticality of column inserted bars were rechecked before initial setting.

The successful completion of this milestone has accumulated valuable experience for subsequent large-area raft slab construction and further strengthened the team's confidence in overcoming challenges. Moving forward, the project team will continue to strictly control quality and safety, organize construction scientifically, and ensure the underground structure is fully topped out on schedule.
