en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 27th, Ovarro's EnigmaREACH leak detection system has secured its fifth strategic deployment in the UK, with several water companies adopting this technology to enhance water conservation efficiency. The system integrates acoustic loggers, a management application, and cloud analytics to provide automated leak detection services. Currently, five UK utility companies, including Southern Water and Affinity Water, have begun using it, achieving a conversion rate exceeding 90% in multiple District Metered Areas (DMAs).

The EnigmaREACH system simplifies the leak detection process by integrating steps such as logger planning, deployment, data analysis, and pinpoint follow-up. Typical deployments show that each technician can detect four to five leaks per day with 90% accuracy, covering approximately 10 kilometers and saving up to 56% in operational costs.
Tony Gwynne, Ovarro's Global Director of Leakage Solutions, stated: "Winning renewal contracts demonstrates the significant efficiency gains EnigmaREACH delivers in leak detection." He added: "Transitioning from manual to automated processes has resulted in continuous time savings, particularly in data analysis and pinpoint follow-up. This allows covering more ground each day, showcasing the commitment to innovation by early adopters." Launched in 2024, EnigmaREACH has been adopted in the UK, Europe, North America, and Saudi Arabia, among other regions. The system is helping water companies accelerate progress towards their water conservation targets for the 2025-2030 investment period, driving technological advancement in the industry.
