en.Wedoany.com Reported - ABB has recently launched the latest version of its flagship digital technology, My Measurement Assistant+, which further enhances equipment maintenance efficiency in industrial fields by integrating generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). This web application provides predictive maintenance recommendations for engineers in industries such as chemicals, power, mining, and water treatment through real-time multilingual support, condition monitoring, and dynamic QR code features, aiming to quickly resolve common technical issues related to measurement systems.
At the core of the system, My Measurement Assistant+ is deeply integrated with ABB Genix™ Copilot, developed on Microsoft Foundry. This collaboration allows users to directly access health data, service history, and diagnostic analysis by scanning dynamic QR codes on equipment, making daily equipment maintenance more intuitive. Copilot not only displays a complete spare parts library and guides ordering but also schedules visual remote support calls, reducing unnecessary on-site visits through remote assistance. Currently, the system supports multiple languages including Chinese, English, German, and French.
David Lincoln, Digital Lead of ABB's Measurement & Analytics division, noted: "Our goal is to provide the possibility for prescriptive maintenance, helping industrial customers address downtime costs and workforce skill gaps, making equipment maintenance as convenient as operating consumer electronics to achieve leaner operations." A Microsoft representative also stated that this integrated AI agent model is encouraging teams to shift from reactive troubleshooting to data-driven actions.

The system is now integrated with the unit monitoring platform Genix Datalyzer, focusing on real-time data processing in emission monitoring applications. In addition to utilizing AI for prescriptive maintenance recommendations, the system also features a new cybersecurity dashboard, ensuring that assets and transmission data are protected during the equipment maintenance process. This solution, combining artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data analytics, provides a new path for industrial enterprises to achieve intelligent operations.
