The funds will be used for the planning and installation of thermal energy networks (TEN) as well as the exploration and drilling for geothermal power generation.

The funding comes from the Geothermal Energy Grant Program (GEGP) and the Geothermal Tax Credit Program (GETCO). Among these, five GETCO projects focus on heating and cooling, while two GEGP projects concentrate on electricity generation. Awarded projects include Memorial Hospital, Aspen School District, Fervo Energy, and others. Since the beginning of the year, CEO has allocated a total of $42.6 million for geothermal development.
