One of Ukraine’s established rolling stock producers, Dniprovagonmash, has introduced a new series of 80-foot platform wagons for large containers, designated model 13-4153.
According to available information, 34 wagons have already been dispatched to their customer and are currently moving across the rail network. The design is intended for the 1520 mm gauge, in addition to the company’s expertise gained from building cars for European tracks.
The model 13-4153 flat car represents the latest addition to a longstanding portfolio of platforms. Since its inception, the manufacturing facility has focused on expanding its range of wagon models, and the engineering approach applied to the new wagon reflects that tradition.
The enterprise intends to launch another platform, model 13-4155, designed for 40-foot containers. Both variants target operational efficiency and include features intended to streamline production processes and overall technical performance.
