en.Wedoany.com Reported - Resolution Minerals Ltd announced that preliminary metallurgical testing of samples from Antimony Ridge at its Horse Heaven project in Idaho, USA, has achieved high antimony recovery rates. Rougher flotation tests conducted by IMO Laboratory in Perth achieved a 99.5% sulfur recovery rate, indicating near-complete recovery of stibnite.

The tests used a low-grade composite sample grading 10.5% antimony, and the results showed that the process can effectively recover stibnite even when high-grade material is diluted by waste rock. At pH 7, the rougher combined antimony recovery rate reached 76.0% at a grade of 27.3% antimony; at natural pH, the recovery rate was 72.2% at a grade of 23.6% antimony. Resolution's Senior In-House Metallurgist, Dr. Adam Roper, stated: "The preliminary concentration results from the rougher flotation tests on the Antimony Ridge samples are very encouraging. Capturing virtually all of the antimony sulfide is an excellent sign for a simple and robust antimony processing flowsheet. I look forward to discussing more results in the coming weeks."

These antimony recovery rates support previous results where a 99.38% antimony oxide product was produced from a large stibnite sample from the historic Antimony Ridge open pit using a conventional pyrometallurgical volatilization process. The high sulfide recovery, early antimony oxide results, and 3D modeling of multiple vein sets within a 1,000-meter by 700-meter area collectively support the project's development potential. Antimony Ridge was recently selected by the U.S. Permitting Council for FAST-41 transparency coverage, reflecting its potential role as a domestic U.S. source of antimony.

Further flotation testing is underway, including a cleaner stage to upgrade the rougher concentrate from approximately 30% antimony to over 50% antimony. Hydrometallurgical treatment tests are being conducted at ANSTO in Australia. Resolution Minerals also plans to commence a 13,700-meter Phase 2 drilling program at the Golden Gate target to define the scale of gold and tungsten mineralization and support a maiden Mineral Resource estimate.
