en.Wedoany.com Reported - Askari Metals Ltd has confirmed ongoing polymetallic mineralisation from the first phase of trenching at the PS Pegmatite target within its wholly owned Uis Project in Namibia. Assay results from the program delivered peak values of: 6,670 ppm tin, 0.49% lithium oxide, 465 ppm tantalum, 2,020 ppm rubidium, and 134 ppm caesium, confirming tin-lithium-tantalum-rubidium-caesium mineralisation within the PS pegmatite system.

Executive Director Gino D’Anna commented: "The first phase of trenching at the PS Pegmatite target continues the momentum generated by trenching results at the OP and DP targets, once again confirming high-grade, continuous polymetallic mineralisation across these targets at the Uis Project in Namibia. Mineralisation is distributed along the entire length and width of the pegmatite in varying concentrations, returning results up to 6,670 ppm Sn, 0.49% Li2O, 465 ppm Ta, 2,020 ppm Rb, and 134 ppm Cs. These results not only validate previous limited exploration work but also generate robust, high-confidence drill targets. We plan to advance the Uis Project to the next stage of development by confirming the scale of the pegmatites through systematic drilling and delivering a maiden JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate. We are encouraged by these findings and will continue to build on this success through a multifaceted exploration approach. These results strongly indicate the presence of a significant mineralised system warranting further exploration, and we are targeting a maiden resource for the Uis Project later this year. We look forward to keeping shareholders and investors updated as we progress activities on schedule."

These results follow trenching at the OP and DP targets and further support Askari's plans for reverse circulation drilling scheduled for the second half of 2026. The PS target, located on EPL 7345 adjacent to the Uis Tin Mine operated by Andrada Mining Ltd, forms part of Askari's larger 380-square-kilometre tenure within the Cape Cross-Uis pegmatite belt. The first phase of trenching was completed at approximately 40-metre spacing across the main PS pegmatite, which outcrops over approximately 260 metres, with a parallel western pegmatite extending for approximately 140 metres. At the PS target, Askari completed 272 metres across 14 trenches, collecting 159 channel samples. The program exposed a total of 76 metres of pegmatite, with sample lengths ranging from 0.4 metres to 2.2 metres.

Notable tin results include: 3.14 metres grading 3,577 ppm tin from 11.06 metres in PSTR05, including 2.2 metres at 5,238 ppm; and 5.32 metres grading 1,249 ppm tin from 3.8 metres in PSTR06, including 1 metre at 3,700 ppm. Lithium results include: 4.55 metres grading 0.4% lithium oxide from 4.7 metres in PSTR02, including 1 metre at 0.48%; and 4.11 metres grading 0.31% lithium oxide from 17.24 metres in PSTR04, including 0.9 metres at 0.49%. Tantalum mineralisation was reported in the main pegmatite and its associated branches, with the best intercept being 4.2 metres grading 246 ppm tantalum from 14.5 metres in PSTR04, including 1 metre at 465 ppm. Rubidium results include 1.64 metres grading 0.16% rubidium oxide from 4.36 metres in PSTR08, and caesium assays include 0.6 metres grading 134 ppm caesium from 18.7 metres in PSTR04.

Askari stated that the trenching validated previous exploration, improved the understanding of pegmatite geometry, and provided high-confidence targets for drilling. Previous drilling at PS was limited and poorly positioned, as portions of the pegmatite are covered by scree and calcrete. Next steps include: remaining assay results from the K9 target (expected mid-May 2026), soil and geochemical work on EPL 7626, mapping and rock chip sampling of new targets on EPL 7345, and potential second-phase trenching and reverse circulation drilling at the DP, OP, PS, and K9 targets. Maiden diamond drilling is also planned for the K9 pegmatite.
