en.Wedoany.com Reported - At the 2026 IPMA International Project Management Research Conference, ZTE shared its digital management achievements in global project delivery. Held in Bogotá, Colombia, the conference featured Wang Yuzhu, Manager of ZTE's Colombia Engineering Services, and expert Jose Perez, who presented on the theme of digital and intelligent project management. They introduced the company's digital project management system built for complex global project delivery scenarios.
Based on the "One Team, One System, One Mechanism" management framework, this system leverages the independently developed intelligent digital delivery platform iEPMS (Intelligent Engineering Project Management System) to achieve refined management across the entire project lifecycle. The platform covers key areas such as project planning, cost, quality, risk, and resources, enhancing management efficiency through digitalization, online capabilities, automation, and intelligent tools.

In terms of intelligent practices, ZTE applies technologies such as OCR recognition, AI Agent, Large Language Models (LLM), and RAG knowledge enhancement to project quality reviews, intelligent design generation, risk analysis, and automated report generation. Notably, the AI quality review accuracy rate reaches 98%, and project report generation time has been reduced from the traditional 180 minutes to just 5 minutes.
In digital delivery, ZTE has cumulatively delivered over 240,000 projects globally, deployed more than 7 million sites, and constructed over 240,000 kilometers of external fiber optic cables. Through process automation and the development of intelligent tool systems, it has achieved a 65% reduction in acceptance costs, an 85% decrease in site re-entry rates, and a 2.5-fold improvement in network activation efficiency.
During the conference, ZTE also introduced global benchmark cases such as the Ecuador RAN network project. In this project, the combination of an intelligent platform with over 50 standardized SOP processes enabled a "zero user perception" migration during network switching. Additionally, its digital project management solutions have been applied in multiple projects in Colombia, including lithium batteries, solar energy, microwave, FTTH, and DWDM.
