en.Wedoany.com Reported - As part of its fleet renewal program, Fesco Transport Group has purchased 600 new 40-foot refrigerated containers.

Its subsidiary Dalreftrans, responsible for perishable cargo transportation, manages over 5,300 refrigerated containers with an average age of approximately 6.3 years, down from 17 years in 2020.

The new containers are used for both domestic and international trade. Some have already been deployed during the Russian Far East fishing season, while the rest have been allocated to Southeast Asian terminals for transporting perishable goods to Russia.

Andrey Grechkin, CEO of Dalreftrans, stated that the systematic renewal of equipment is not a one-time initiative but an ongoing effort. The volume of perishable cargo continues to grow, and the opening of new routes and priority services require maximum attention to the fleet. The company will continue to invest in equipment procurement and renewal, ensuring shippers have full confidence in every kilometer of transportation, which is especially important during the Year of Fesco's Customers.

Currently, Dalreftrans operates the largest fleet of refrigerated containers among Russian operators.
