en.Wedoany.com Reported - Samsung SDS announced a business partnership with U.S. AI security startup Xbow and domestic cloud security company Tatum Security to enhance its capabilities in AI and cloud security.

Through this collaboration, Samsung SDS plans to upgrade its security framework across all areas, from AI-based vulnerability detection and comprehensive cloud security monitoring to incident response, helping enterprise customers more safely adopt and operate AI and cloud environments. The partnership with Xbow will expand AI-based vulnerability detection capabilities for enterprise customers' web-based IT assets. Samsung SDS will leverage Xbow's AI technology to simulate hacker attacks, enabling faster and more precise identification of vulnerabilities in enterprise customers' network services and information assets, followed by remediation and follow-up measures. The company believes that proactive vulnerability management can stably ensure service availability, reduce the likelihood of potential security incidents, and thereby minimize legal and financial losses.

The partnership with Tatum Security will strengthen a comprehensive security monitoring system suitable for multi-cloud environments. Samsung SDS plans to use Tatum Security's technology to provide comprehensive security monitoring and visibility for enterprise customers using various cloud environments. The company stated that enterprise customers can gain a holistic view of the security status of multiple cloud assets, identify early warning signs and risk factors, and thus prevent security incidents in advance. Future collaboration will also expand to areas such as cloud access and permission management services and joint development.

As a managed security service provider (MSSP), Samsung SDS will also enhance its capabilities for pre- and post-incident response. When a security incident occurs at an enterprise customer, Samsung SDS will prevent additional losses and shorten recovery time through rapid analysis and action, while supporting incident cause analysis and the development of recurrence prevention measures, thereby helping enterprise customers maintain business continuity and improve cyber resilience.

Jang Yong-min, Executive Vice President and Head of the Security Business Team at Samsung SDS, stated that through partnerships with leading domestic and international security startups, the company has built a comprehensive cloud security response system covering proactive prevention, routine monitoring, and post-incident recovery. He added that the company will combine global technology with domestic customized solutions and Samsung SDS's operational experience to address new threats arising from enterprise adoption of AI.
