en.Wedoany.com Reported - Capital Clean Energy Carriers announced that the 174,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas carrier Agamemnon, built by HD Hyundai Samho, has been officially delivered. The vessel has commenced a time charter contract previously signed with an energy company, with the contract period lasting until March 2027.

After the charter contract expires, at the company's option, the Agamemnon will begin a long-term lease contract originally allocated to the LNG carrier Athlos or Archon, with one having a fixed term of five years and the other seven years, each including an additional five-year renewal option at the charterer's discretion.

The acquisition of the Agamemnon was funded from the company's available cash and a $216 million senior secured bridge loan. This loan is planned to be refinanced in July 2026 through an eight-year, $216 million JOLCO (Japanese Operating Lease) credit facility.

The Agamemnon is the 14th next-generation LNG carrier delivered to the company. CCEC's newbuilding fleet also includes seven additional vessels of this latest generation, with expected deliveries between the third quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2029.
