en.Wedoany.com Reported - South Korean AI semiconductor company Mobilint announced on the 26th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with industrial computing solutions provider ADLINK Technology (ADLINK) and rugged computing specialist Getac Technology Corporation (Getac) to establish a cooperation system for industrialization and global market expansion based on its own AI semiconductor solutions.

ADLINK is a global edge computing and industrial computing solutions company headquartered in Taiwan, providing industrial computing platforms for various industrial sectors including manufacturing, automation, transportation, healthcare, and telecommunications. Getac is a global rugged computing solutions company jointly established by GE Aerospace (USA) and MiTAC (Taiwan), offering rugged laptops, tablets, and mobile computing solutions for industrial environments requiring high reliability, such as defense, public safety, manufacturing, and energy.

Mobilint has established a foundation for collaboration by connecting its AI semiconductor technology with ADLINK's industrial edge computing platforms and Getac's rugged computing solutions. Based on this, the company plans to expand the application of AI semiconductors across various industrial sectors including manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, public safety, and defense, while broadening global customer touchpoints.

This agreement follows the cooperation established at COMPUTEX 2026 for building an industrial AI ecosystem in Taiwan, marking a continuation of practical business collaboration. At COMPUTEX 2026, Mobilint had already established strategic partnerships with major Taiwanese companies such as DFI, NEXCOBOT, and TOP MEASURE to begin expanding the industrial AI ecosystem.

Kim Sung-mo, Head of Business Development at Mobilint, stated that in the industrial AI market, not only semiconductor performance is important, but also the integration with various systems and solutions is critical. Through this collaboration, the company will create an environment where customers can more easily adopt AI and continue to expand the application of Mobilint's AI semiconductors in global industrial settings.

Additionally, in May of this year, Mobilint registered products based on its first-generation NPU "ARIES" on the Public Procurement Service's National Procurement Market comprehensive shopping mall. The company's strategy is to promote the diffusion of edge AI-based digital transformation by increasing verification and adoption cases centered on public institutions.
