This partnership follows the previous strategic cooperation between CaoCao and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, marking an accelerated implementation phase for CaoCao's Robotaxi deployment in the Middle East.

Under the agreement, K2 will leverage its local resources in the UAE, strategic partnerships, and understanding of the mobility and technology ecosystem to support project deployment, including providing testing and validation environments, operational infrastructure, and other key resources to facilitate the safe and efficient deployment of Robotaxis. CaoCao will leverage its experience in smart customized vehicles, vehicle operations, and platform management to provide operational vehicles, technical support, and professional training. Both parties will jointly support the development of Abu Dhabi's Robotaxi service system and plan to seek autonomous driving cooperation in more regions and fields.

CaoCao is the primary commercialization platform for Geely Holding Group's RoboX strategy, having built a full-capability closed-loop ecosystem covering smart customized vehicles, intelligent driving technology, and smart operations. The company recently unveiled its RoboX strategy, aiming to build a global physical AI mobility technology platform. CaoCao has launched China's first customized Robotaxi, with plans for mass production in 2027 and cumulative deployment of 100,000 Robotaxis and 100,000 Robovans by 2030, accelerating the transition of autonomous driving technology from demonstration applications to large-scale operations.

As part of RoboX's global expansion, CaoCao will leverage Abu Dhabi as a springboard to promote the commercial deployment of Robotaxis in the Middle East and more overseas markets.
