The agreement was signed during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) held in Poland in 2026, extending the existing memorandum of cooperation and confidential information protection agreement between the two enterprises.
The renewed framework covers collaboration on multiple projects, including the construction of the Kaniv Pumped Storage Power Plant (Kaniv PSPP), the third phase of the Dniester Pumped Storage Power Plant (Dniester PSPP), the restoration of the Kakhovka Hydropower Plant, and the modernization of the Dniester Hydropower Plant (Dniester HPP).
The two companies stated that the collaboration involves the preparation and delivery of technical information required for the projects, as well as the exchange of expertise and experience. At the same time, the cooperation aims to support the adoption of international best practices and attract investment in Ukraine's hydropower sector.
