en.Wedoany.com Reported - The source-grid-load-storage project at Xishui County's Wenshui Industrial Park officially commenced on June 26. The project, invested with 56 million yuan by Shanghai Hengyi Group's subsidiary Hengyi Huaxin (Guizhou) Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., will provide green, stable, and economical power security for the Wenshui Industrial Park upon completion. The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2027.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on the morning of the same day at the Wenshui Industrial Park in Xishui County, attended by relevant local government officials, project construction parties, and representatives from the park's operator. The project leader introduced the construction plan, core advantages, and comprehensive benefits upon completion, and made commitments to high-standard construction, high-quality implementation, and high-efficiency operation of the project.
Founded in 2014, Shanghai Hengyi Group specializes in new energy power generation, energy storage, and operations. In Guizhou Province, the group focuses on scenarios such as production-oriented logistics parks and wastewater treatment plants, strategically deploying distributed new energy projects.
The source-grid-load-storage project now underway at the Wenshui Industrial Park fully utilizes existing resources such as park rooftops and idle land, and will be developed in two phases. Phase I plans to construct a 16 MW photovoltaic power station, while Phase II will include a 10 MWh energy storage station, ultra-fast charging piles on the park's ground, and an intelligent power dispatch system. Construction will begin in July this year, integrating functions such as photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, intelligent power distribution, and terminal electricity consumption to build an integrated smart energy system.
According to Liu Shuailiang, Chairman of Shanghai Hengyi Group, this project breaks down the barriers of the traditional energy system where the "source, grid, load, and storage" links operate in isolation. It optimizes the park's energy supply structure from five core dimensions: operational mechanism, economic benefits, energy conservation, grid security, and low-carbon green development. The project will significantly replace fossil energy at the source and systematically reduce carbon emission intensity. The photovoltaic construction will proceed in two phases: the first phase will build the photovoltaic power station, and the second phase will build the energy storage, while simultaneously constructing the park's nuclear storage dispatch system to ensure seamless green electricity supply for the park.
The implementation of this project is an important practice for Xishui County in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of its industry and building a new power system. Once fully operational, the project will reduce electricity costs for enterprises in the park, enhance the park's comprehensive energy service level, and inject momentum into the green, low-carbon, and sustainable development of the local industrial economy.
