en.Wedoany.com Reported - imc Test & Measurement has completed an integration with HighQSoft, enabling measurement results from HighQSoft ASAMCommander to be directly opened and processed in FAMOS. Test engineers can now search and filter measurement data in ASAMCommander and immediately transfer it to the data analysis and reporting software FAMOS.

This integration establishes a seamless workflow from centralized test data management to detailed signal analysis. Users can select measurement data in ASAMCommander and analyze it directly in FAMOS, with complete information including channels, units, sampling rates, and metadata. This eliminates the time required for manual file exports and enables controlled processing of large, complex measurement datasets.

ASAMCommander is a web-based test data management application built on HighQSoft's AReS Libertas (ASAM ODS 6 server), helping engineering teams search, filter, and manage measurement data across the organization. FAMOS is a mature software environment for analyzing, visualizing, automating, and documenting large-scale measurement data, covering automotive test data from test bench applications, proving grounds, and validation drives, as well as data from the aerospace, railway, and mechanical engineering industries.

The new integration connects structured measurement data management in ASAMCommander with the powerful measurement data evaluation capabilities of FAMOS. Test engineers can continue using existing FAMOS analysis workflows, macros, and reporting processes, while measurement data remains centrally stored in the ASAM ODS repository.

In the latest version, FAMOS 2026 +AI, engineers gain several new features: new support for Apache Parquet and MDF4 files, opening interfaces to cloud and big data workflows; an improved AI assistant for creating and implementing evaluation steps, calculations, and visualizations; new signal processing functions with expanded analysis capabilities, particularly suitable for interval- and cycle-based signals; and enhanced visualization, selection, and reporting functions for efficiently evaluating large-scale measurement data and generating consistent, professional reports that meet corporate design standards.

On a technical level, the connection is based on open interfaces and standards. FAMOS offers a flexible Python API, while HighQSoft uses pyHQL—a Python library for the HQL query language on ASAM ODS. This combination allows measurement data from ASAM ODS systems to be directly integrated into FAMOS sequences without the need for proprietary plugins, vendor-specific SDKs, or recompilation of applications.

For large-scale testing activities such as those in the automotive industry—where ASAM ODS has become the global standard for test data management—this integration offers clear advantages: relevant measurements can be selected from thousands of datasets in ASAMCommander, directly transferred to FAMOS, and immediately evaluated. This seamless handover simplifies the evaluation of vehicle tests, test bench trials, and other data-intensive development and validation processes.

Daniel Förder, Product Manager for Software Strategy at imc Test & Measurement, stated that FAMOS 2026 +AI can easily connect to modern cloud-based data management systems while supporting established standards such as ASAM ODS, combining centralized data storage with powerful measurement data analysis to help test and validation teams evaluate large volumes of data faster and more efficiently.
