en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of Russia's Perm Krai, reaffirmed the tasks set by President Vladimir Putin: ensuring national food security and achieving a 25% increase in agricultural output by 2030. To this end, the region is continuously advancing the modernization of existing agricultural enterprises and the construction of new factories.

According to the regional government, 226 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget this year for agricultural projects, including the construction and modernization of dairy industry facilities. Currently, about 70 various investment projects are registered, with 34 successfully implemented last year. To achieve the production growth target, Alexei Chibisov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government and Minister of Industry and Trade, noted that it is necessary to increase the output of milk, eggs, livestock, and poultry. This requires activating investments, with the investment volume in this sector needing to nearly double from current levels by 2028.

Several specific projects have already been implemented. The agricultural company "Trud" invested this year in upgrading its rapeseed processing line and milk processing plant. The enterprise "Zarya Putino" is constructing four calf-rearing facilities with an investment of over 400 million rubles. The agricultural cooperative "SPK Kolhoz im. Chapaeva" is modernizing its calf-rearing facility with an investment of 156 million rubles.

To encourage the development of dairy farming, the government has introduced support measures for investors. Agricultural enterprises implementing priority investment projects to create dairy farms with a herd size exceeding 1,200 cows receive comprehensive support, including administrative assistance, land acquisition without bidding, preferential leasing of agricultural machinery, and compensation of up to 5% of the construction costs for dairy farms. Currently, three enterprises have been granted priority investment project status: "Zarya Putino's" project to build a third-phase dairy farm with a herd of 3,700 cows, the state farm "Druzhny's" project for a dairy farm with 1,400 cows, and the "SPK Kolhoz im. Chapaeva's" feed center project. More new priority investment projects are being prepared.

Governor Makhonin emphasized the importance of developing the regional market for breeding cattle. He has instructed relevant departments to assess the activity level of local producers in supplying breeding materials to regional enterprises and to develop effective ways to inform livestock breeders about these opportunities.
