Meralco energizes 83-MVA substation in Cavite

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Manila Electric Company (Meralco), led by Manuel Pangilinan, has officially inaugurated the newly built Osorio (Conchu) substation, aimed at enhancing system capacity and power supply reliability for customers in the Cavite area.

The project adds a new 83-megavolt-ampere (MVA) power transformer, three 115-kilovolt (kV) gas circuit breakers, six 115-kV disconnecting switches, and includes the completion of a 115-kV sub-transmission line and a control room equipped with 34.5-kV indoor modular switchgear.

The Osorio (Conchu) substation provides additional system capacity and enhances power supply reliability for the areas of Trece Martires and General Trias. Benefiting customers include commercial and residential users, covering the Trece Martires City Hall, City of General Trias Doctors Medical Center Inc., Lyceum of the Philippines University, and Eagle Ridge Gold and Residential Estates.
