en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dutch inverter and energy storage manufacturer Atmoce has launched an AC-coupled energy storage system for commercial and industrial applications, model M-ELV BattBank. The system offers a usable energy capacity of 16.08 kWh per unit and can be expanded to 112.56 kWh per cluster with seven units.

A key feature is that each additional module increases output power by 8 kW, achieving a maximum continuous output of 56 kW. The system is cascadable and can be flexibly scaled according to the actual energy needs of the enterprise.

The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, with each battery cell having a capacity of 314 Ah and a maximum DC voltage of 57.6 V. The system has a rated cycle life of up to 10,000 cycles and employs intelligent air cooling. Its power conversion module has a rated apparent output of 8 kVA, a maximum output of 10 kVA, and a rated input of 8 kVA.

Unlike conventional series configurations, each battery pack in this system is equipped with its own independent inverter. Modules start sequentially, ensuring each battery pack operates in its highest efficiency range. Atmoce states that weaker modules do not limit overall output. The system's control unit is the Atmoce Matrix Control, which dynamically coordinates interactions between modules for efficient, real-time energy management.

The system's AC-side round-trip efficiency exceeds 90%, and each battery pack can discharge up to 12 kW instantaneously for 10 seconds. A single battery unit weighs 154 kg, with stacking dimensions of 889 mm x 300 mm x 483 mm, and an ambient operating temperature range of -30°C to 55°C.
