Russia's Moscow Region to Invest 7 Billion Rubles in Bakery Industry Development

Vitaly Mosin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, stated that from 2026 to 2028, the region plans to attract over 7 billion rubles for the implementation of key industry projects.

These projects include: the Voskhod company in Mytishchi is modernizing its production by adding an additional line for segmented molded baguettes and ciabatta. The investment in this project exceeds 220 million rubles, and it is planned to create 56 new jobs. Upon implementation, annual production will increase from 11,900 tons to 17,600 tons.

The Bag Shtadt Rus company in Yegoryevsk is implementing two production modernization projects, including the installation of a new production line and a Flowpack packaging line. The total investment amounts to 4.4 billion rubles, creating 132 new jobs at the enterprise.

The Gipfel company in Podolsk is modernizing its bakery product production with an investment of approximately 2.5 billion rubles. This project will increase annual production by 12,800 tons and create 92 new jobs.

The stable growth of the industry is driven by leading regional enterprises, including the Ramensky Bakery Products Association Joint-Stock Company, Kolomna Fields LLC, and Serpukhov Bread Open Joint-Stock Company. Consumers can choose from a wide range of products, from classic bread to yeast-free and whole-grain options.

In 2025, the Moscow Region produced over 658,000 tons of bread and bread products, an increase of 1.3% compared to 2024. Growth continued in 2026, with production of these products (including semi-finished goods) rising by 5.7% in the first four months, reaching nearly 223,000 tons.
