en.Wedoany.com Reported - Puerto Quequén in Argentina is advancing the reinforcement and structural strengthening of the coastal wall at Berth 2 (Sitio 2) to mitigate water erosion and ensure the long-term operational stability of the port area.

This project restores the performance of coastal defense structures through comprehensive intervention measures, offsetting natural wear caused by marine dynamics. Gustavo Gavilán, Operations Manager of the Puerto Quequén Management Consortium (Consorcio de Gestión de Puerto Quequén), stated that this is a critical project to restore the original stability conditions of the coastal defenses and protect the dock from future erosion processes.

Gustavo Gavilán added that by consolidating the structural strength of Berth 2, Puerto Quequén ensures a safe working environment for operators, stevedores, and crew members, preventing emergencies and maintaining the consistent predictability standards of this seaport station.
