This expansion targets the growing demand in China’s electric vehicle sector. The new plant, equipped with advanced mold lines, will boost production capacity by nearly 70% and is set to begin operations in 2027. A ceremony marking the project’s commencement took place on April 14, 2025.

The expansion builds on Cellasto’s established presence in Shanghai, where its first plant has operated for a decade.
