en.Wedoany.com Reported - Refined Energy Corp. has announced the final analytical results from its 2026 winter drilling program at the Dufferin West property, located within the uranium-rich Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan. The property is wholly owned by Eagle Plains Resources, with Refined holding an exclusive option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the project.

The 2026 drilling program targeted geophysical anomalies identified through electromagnetic, gravity, and magnetic surveys. A total of three holes were completed, totaling 975 meters, with a budget of approximately CAD 1.7 million, managed by TerraLogic Exploration Inc. Holes DW26-001 and DW26-003 successfully intersected the Athabasca unconformity, while DW26-002 was terminated prematurely before reaching the target depth.

Eighty-seven samples from the two holes were submitted to ALS Canada Ltd. for geochemical analysis. Ten samples returned weakly anomalous uranium values, with the highest assay result being 5 ppm uranium directly below the unconformity in DW26-001. A review of U/Th and Pb isotope ratios, along with alteration indicator elements such as boron, identified ten anomalous sample intervals, with uranium enrichment relative to thorium occurring directly below the unconformity.

Hole DW26-001 intersected the target graphite conductor at 381 meters, accompanied by brecciation. Hole DW26-003 reached the unconformity at 312 meters and intersected two brecciated fault zones: one in the sandstone from 104 to 120 meters depth, with bleaching; and another in the basement from 323.7 to 327.1 meters depth, with brecciation and clay gouge. DW26-003 also tested a ground gravity low coincident with a magnetic low, bounded to the east by a magnetic high. All intersection depths are listed as downhole depths, not surface depths.

Refined Energy CEO Mark Fields stated that the 2026 winter program successfully completed the company's planned drilling tests, providing additional geological and geochemical information for the property, and acknowledged the efforts of the field team, contractors, and technical personnel involved in the program.

The Dufferin project comprises 10,140 hectares, including North Dufferin and West Dufferin, located on or near the known trace of the Virgin River Shear Zone, with related structural splays developed.
