en.Wedoany.com Reported - McLaren Resources Inc. (CSE: MCL, FSE: 3ML) has completed a drone magnetic (Drone MAG) geophysical survey at the McCool project, laying the groundwork for subsequent gold exploration. The McCool project is located 85 kilometers east of Timmins in northeastern Ontario, Canada.
The drone magnetic geophysical survey covered the central and western areas of the project, with a total line length of 6 kilometers across 101 survey lines spaced 60 meters apart. The survey was conducted along the Centre Hill Fault, which trends east-west for approximately 7 kilometers within the McCool project area. Following the interpretation and related studies of the magnetic survey results, McLaren Resources plans to design the next phase of exploration work.
Previous exploration work in the eastern portion of the project has yielded positive gold drilling results. Subsequent exploration efforts are planned to follow the geological trend west of this gold drilling area, located approximately 200 meters south of and roughly parallel to the Centre Hill Fault.

The McCool project is adjacent to Mayfair Gold's Fenn-Gib gold project to the southwest and borders ONYX Gold's Munro-Croesus gold project to the west. STLLR Gold's Tower project adjoins the southern and southeastern boundaries. The McCool gold exploration project is surrounded by multiple gold projects and producing gold mines, including the Fox gold mine operated by McEwen Mining and the Holt mine complex of Agnico Eagle Mines. The project is situated on a geological fault structure associated with the Destor Porcupine fault zone, which trends east-west within the Abitibi greenstone belt.
McLaren Resources is focused on gold exploration in the Timmins gold district of northeastern Ontario, Canada, holding 100% interests in the 640-hectare Blue Quartz Gold Mine project (with past production and development), the 1,770-hectare McCool gold project, and the 775-hectare Kerrs gold project, located approximately 80 kilometers east of downtown Timmins.
