en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 8, Zacatecas Silver reported assay results from the Phase 2 diamond drilling program at the El Cristo vein system. A total of 20 holes were completed for 2,144 meters, with 11 holes intersecting silver and base metal mineralization. Drilling has confirmed mineralization over a strike length of approximately 1.5 kilometers and a width of approximately 250 meters, within a mineralized expansion zone at least 3 kilometers long and 650 meters wide, with mineralization remaining open at depth.

Zacatecas Silver reports high-grade silver discovery at El Cristo project

The highest grade in this program came from hole CRI-2026-043, which intersected 0.51 meters of mineralization from a down-hole depth of 40.79 meters, grading 2,337 g/t silver equivalent, including 2,300 g/t silver and 0.48 g/t gold. Hole CRI-2026-048 intersected 0.32 meters from 19.68 meters, grading 858 g/t silver equivalent; hole CRI-2026-047 intersected 0.43 meters from 59.87 meters, grading 582.7 g/t silver equivalent. Hole CRI-2026-045 intersected 2.42 meters from 11.35 meters, grading 280.5 g/t silver equivalent; and hole CRI-2026-044 intersected 2.78 meters from 27.32 meters, grading 249.9 g/t silver equivalent.

The Phase 2 drill holes were primarily designed to test the continuity of near-surface veins between Phase 1 holes. Most mineralized intersections were located within 75 meters down-hole, or within 50 meters vertical depth below surface; the deepest mineralized intersection was in hole CRI-2026-046 at 129.63 meters down-hole, with a thickness of 0.28 meters and grading 114.3 g/t silver equivalent. This program confirmed continuity between multiple known mineralized structures, but the down-dip extensions of the veins have not yet been systematically tested.

El Cristo is an intermediate-sulfidation epithermal mineralization system. Zacatecas Silver completed 28 reconnaissance holes in Phase 1, of which 22 intersected silver and base metal mineralization. Phase 2 continued infill drilling in the near-surface area of the vein system and extended the continuity verification of mineralization to approximately 1.5 kilometers of strike length.

Samples from this program were processed by ALS, with core recovery exceeding 98% in the vein zones. The company calculates silver equivalent using silver, gold, lead, and zinc prices and corresponding recoveries; as drill holes intersect the veins at oblique angles, the reported intersection lengths do not represent true thicknesses, and further drilling is required to determine the true widths of the mineralized bodies.
